Mounting Blocks

Browse our variety of options for mounting sensors to various weapons systems.

Picatinny Mounting Block

The Picatinny Sensor Mount is a purpose-built solution for integrating high-frequency accelerometers directly onto weapon platforms for dynamic measurement during live-fire testing. Designed to interface with standard MIL-STD-1913 rails, this mount provides a rigid, repeatable attachment point for capturing shock, vibration, and motion data at the source.

The mount supports a combined sensor configuration where sensors can be mounted on the top and/or front surface. This configuration enables multi-axis measurement of system response, allowing users to capture both axial and out-of-plane dynamics during firing events.

By placing instrumentation directly on the rail, the system minimizes signal distortion and mounting compliance, ensuring high-fidelity data collection under extreme dynamic loading conditions. This makes the mount well suited for applications including recoil analysis, weapon motion characterization, suppressor evaluation, picatinny mounted attachment harshness testing, and more.

Key Features

• Direct Picatinny rail interface for rapid installation and repeatable positioning
• Compatible with piezoelectric, charge, or piezoresistive sensors.
• Supports multi-axis measurement of shock, vibration, and firearm motion
• Rigid mounting geometry designed to minimize compliance and preserve signal integrity
• Compact form factor to reduce interference with weapon operation and accessories
• Engineered for high-g environments associated with live-fire testing
• Enables synchronized data collection when integrated with external DAQ systems
