AR Instrumented Stock

Designed for AR Platform

Instrumented stock for measuring recoil force at the shoulder interface of AR platform rifles. The stock mounts directly to the buffer tube and is secured with included hardware to provide a tight, repeatable fit for consistent measurements.

Built from glass reinforced nylon, the stock is designed for high impact testing and high volume firing schedules. A shielded internal “bathtub” design protects the load cells and cables from debris, impact, and field damage.

Note: For larger caliber platforms, including AR 10 rifles chambered in .308 Win, 6.5 CM, or similar cartridges, do not use this stock on rifles mounted in rigid test stands such as UMPIRE Static fixtures. This stock is designed to measure recoil at a human shoulder or in dynamic recoil test stands. Rigid constraint may overload the sensors.

MPX/MCX Instrumented Stock

Designed for MPX or MCX Platforms

Instrumented stock for measuring recoil force at the shoulder interface for MPX or MCX platform rifles. The stock mounts directly to 1913 rail and is secured with included hardware to provide a tight, repeatable fit for consistent measurements.

Built from machined aluminum, the stock is designed for high impact testing and high volume firing schedules. A shielded internal “bathtub” design protects the load cells and cables from debris, impact, and field damage.

M249 Instrumented Stock

Instrumented replacement stock for measuring recoil force at the shoulder interface of M249 SAW machine guns. This assembly replaces the standard lightweight collapsible buttstock and provides integrated force measurement for live fire testing.

The stock includes two preloaded uniaxial load cells mounted between precision ground steel plates to maintain consistent sensor contact during recoil loading.

M240 Instrumented Stock

Designed for M240

Instrumented replacement stock for measuring recoil force at the shoulder interface of M240 machine guns. This assembly replaces the standard M240 stock configuration and provides rugged, integrated force measurement for live fire testing.

The system uses two preloaded uniaxial load cells mounted between precision ground steel plates for consistent contact during recoil loading. A protected internal housing is integrated within the OEM stock profile to reduce cable strain and shield the sensors from debris and contaminants.
