BIGHORN KINETICS - UMPIRE VIDEO TRACKING IN ACTION:

This video shows the Bighorn Kinetics UMPIRE test being performed on a machine gun.  The stereo camera system is used to track positions of the firearm and plot the dynamic motion in time.  This technology can be used to measure action times, slide velocities, unlocking time, etc.  The Bighorn Kinetics UMPIRE tracking system can resolve this data immediately following a test, dramatically decreasing post processing time in R&D development.  Additionally, in the case of the video above,  the timing of the projectile leaving the muzzle is determine and the position of the firearm at that time is resolved to infer dispersion patterns and determine how controllable the system is.  The simplicity and speed of this tracking system make it the ultimate tool in firearm development.
